Casting Calls

Sophia posts all casting calls she is currently working on here for those who like to be in direct contact with the casting director when auditioning. Sophia likes to help actors in any way she can. Actors can send in self-tapes or scenes to Sophia for feedback before submitting them.

Please follow self-tape instructions for any video submissions. All sides can be found connected to each character within their respective project. Have those filmed and ready to upload when submitting your information. Please respect the deadline.

Title: Under Her Skin

Logline: Overwhelmed with Eurocentric beauty standards as a black girl, Naomi must do whatever it takes to fit in, even if it drives her to insanity.

Location: Savannah, GA

Shooting: May 23rd-25th

Naomi is a high school girl who has always wanted to fit in and live up to the expectations of others. She is determined and will put in the work necessary to get what she wants. She cares for those around her and will do whatever to make them happy even if it comes at the cost of her happiness.

Note: There will be a fight between Naomi and Ashley that ends with gore. There will be a stunt coordinator on set for the fight scene. Please note any allergies to FX makeup (Silicone, fake blood, etc.)

Ashley is Naomi's best friend and the typical high school girl. Ashley is more self-centered and does truly love Naomi but since she is a selfish individual Ashley ends up using Naomi a lot without thinking of her feelings.
